Jensen is 14 months old!

At 14 months, Jensen LOVES to read books! He could be enteretained for hours with books! During his bedtime stories, he's starting recognizing when we get to the last page of certain books and begins to scream when he knows the end is coming. There's one book in particular, as soon as he sees the boat rocking (the last page), he starts crying!

Jensen is also cruising all over the house, pulling up on everything and pulling everything onto the floor, loving Bailey and chasing after balls! He's moved classes in school - This was his first week in the Pre-Tod room and he loved it! He's back with some of the kids that he was first with in the Baby room...They go outside twice a day, do lots of fun activities, and they only take one nap a day on little cot/mat-things...So far he's stayed in it, but I can forsee some exploring since he's not confined to a crib!! I think this transition will be great for him!

Splish Splash at Swim Lessons!

For the past 6 weeks, we've been going to swim lessons every Tuesday. Jensen has loved the class, splashing in the water, singing songs and meeting new friends! I've enjoyed having an activity to do with Jensen and a little extra bonding time with him out of the house! We learned some pool safety and continued to get Jensen accustomed to the water. Today was Jensen's last day...Here's a few pics from his last class.

Welcome to TODDLERHOOD!!!

Wow, Jensen has entered toddlerhood and definitely has a mind of his own now! Since he has turned one...watch out! He goes WHERE he wants to go, WHEN he wants to go and don't try to stop or redirect him! What an adjustment it's been for mom & dad....We're simply exhausted:) (Could also explain why I'm unable to update the blog as much as I'd like!) While the challenges occur each day, so do the laughs, smiles and heart warming moments that make it so fun to be a parent! Jensen's smiling face reminds us how lucky we are!!

Grandma Swanee's visit

Grandma Swanee came to visit for about a week! We had a great time togther...We went to the zoo with Cara, Elle and Mrs. Barfield, visited with the Masterson's, did some gardening, shopping and cooking. It was so nice to have another set of hands around, especially since Jensen is all over the place now!
