Pregnancy Update

Welcome to the 3rd trimester! How is that possible??? I can't believe we've already entered the final stage of this pregnancy! I know I've been terrible about updating the blog with belly pics....it's just hard to find the time to take pics this time around (Can you say 1 1/2 yr old???)!

I had my 28 wk appt yesterday and everything was great! I took my glucose test and will have those results back in the next few days. My weight gain is following the same pattern as when I was pregnant with Jensen. Although I feel like I've gained weight differently and I feel bigger at this point, the amount of weight I've gained is pretty much exactly the same as it was with Jensen. My BP was 100/60.

Our little Sesame is extremely active, just as Jensen was! In fact, she's nestled into the same little place Jensen did, constantly digging her feet under my right ribs.

We've got our checklist of house projects we're trying to complete. Jensen will be moving into his big boy room within the next month. The plan is to keep him in a crib for a little while longer though. Once he's moved, we can begin making some changes to the nursery to "girl it up!" I'll post pics once things are complete!

Jensen Update

Growth, change, discovery....Everyday Jensen is recognizing something new and increasing his vocabulary! I guess these changes occur at every age, but for some reason it seems magnified at this stage!
He's enjoying playing outside and loves playing with Bailey! She is definitely his best buddy right now:)

Here's a cute little story....The other night we were playing with blocks. Jensen would get about 4-5 blocks stacked up and then they'd fall. When they'd fall, he'd say "Oh No!"

Visit with Baby Anderson!

Cara and Andy welcomed Anderson William Barfield to the world on Monday, September 20 at 4:40pm. Jon & Cathy arrived on Wednesday night for a 2 week visit. Grandma & Grandpa Swanee were traveling back from Tybee Island so they decided to stop for a visit and to meet little Anderson. We had a nice dinner with Barfields on Friday night. Of course, Elle and Jensen couldn't get enough of each other!
Anderson is doing really well! He's a healthy boy with a great appetite and a love for sleeping! He's been a perfect little angel!

Jensen & the jumpy!

We took Jensen to his first birthday party at a jumpy place yesterday. He had the time of his life! There was a small area for toddlers under 2 and he went up and down the slide a dozen times! Looks like we'll have to make this a regular event:) After all the fun, he was ready for a bath and bed last night!
