Halloween 2011

Jensen was a "tytopse," aka a cyclops and Keaton was a ladybug for Halloween!

Nana & Bapa left the Keys (FL) at 4:15am to join the kids for Trick or Treating. We had such a great time! We started with a neighborhood pizza party and then moved our way back up to our house. This was the first year Jensen understood the concept of trick or treating. However, we're going to have to work on his "door etiquette" because he walked right in to a few homes! He was thrilled about how full his basket was and kept saying, "I have candy!" The crazy thing is, since that night, he has not asked us one time for his candy!

Keaton is 10 months old!

Ok, we're getting way too close to turning one! I'm very sad about her birthday quick approaching! HOW IS IT POSSIBLE SHE WILL BE ONE SO SOON???

She's so content! Most of the time she has a giant smile on her face! She enjoys watching her big brother and cruising around from toy to toy. She's a great eater, great sleeper and our sweet little angel!!

She had her own look for about the first 6 months or so, but she is now showing her Jensen similarities!

Baking Cookies with Nana

Nana came for a visit! We had so much fun with her and I loved having the extra help around for the week! She got to take Jensen to and from school, visit his school for Open House, eat ice cream for Make A Wish and bake cookies with Jensen! So much fun!!

Mr. Builder

Each weekend Lowe's offers a building workshop for kids so Jensen & Joe headed down for a little daddy/son outing. Jensen made an awesome fire truck and was so proud of it!!

An appetizer of crayons?!?!?!?

I was in the kitchen cooking dinner for the kids and had turned the tv on for Jensen. I thought he was innocently sitting on the couch watching TV. I guess I was wrong!! Jensen ran over to me saying, "I eat the blue one, I eat the blue one!" When he got to the kitchen, I discovered he was referring to the blue crayon! And then he told me he wanted the yellow one! Oh my!

Keaton is 9 months old!

Wow, our little girl is 9 months old! This is such a great age! She is such a happy baby!! She's officially been crawling for a few weeks and is pulling up on everything. The dr. gave a good report at her check-up...She is now in the 75th percentile for weight, 20lbs. 6 oz. and 80th percentile for height, 28 1/2 inches. She's gained 6 lbs. in 3 months - she was in the 30th percentile at her 6 month appointment. What a healthy weight gain!! In fact, she's only 1 lb. less than Jensen was at 9 months!

She's crawling, smiling, jibber-jabbering, sleeping great and loves to eat! She's now eating a lot of foods she can pick up herself...black beans, mixed veggies, bread, crackers, puffs, cheese, yogurt, cut up bananas, pears, etc. She's still a great sleeper....sleeps from 7:30pm-7:30am and takes two 1 1/2-2 hour naps each day. She loves her little puppy dog that plays a lullaby. She cuddles up with it each time she gets into the crib. Such a sweet little angel!!

We've started to see signs of jealousy from her older brother in the past few weeks. Now that she can crawl and is in to so many toys, I think Jensen is starting to feel a little more "threatened!"
