Keaton is 2 months old!

We just had Keaton's 2 month dr appt (although she's now 10 weeks old). She's a healthy, growing baby girl! She now weighs 12 lb. 9 oz. (90th percentile) and is 23 3/4" long (97th percentile). She got her first round of shots and did very well. She fussed a little in the appt, but didn't have any side effects. The dr. said she looks very healthy! She sees the dr. again when she's 4 months old.

We're still working on sleeping through the night. She's been eating around 10:30pm and then waking up around 3:30am again to eat. It's only once in the middle of the night, but hoping she can start working towards a good full night! Actually, last night she went from 10:45pm until 5:15am....so we're getting there. Maybe tonight's the night!?!?!

We've also been working on getting Keaton to take a bottle. We had a few unsuccessful attempts, but the last time she did well with it and drank a full 4 oz bottle. We're also learning more about the witching hour. For Keaton, this tends to come between 5-7pm. She's been taking good naps in the morning, but as the day goes by, the naps aren't as long or restful. I almost think that she's gotten overly tired by this time of day, which causes her to be more fussy. Some days are better than others. We're definitely learning through trial and error. Just as we've always heard, every baby is different. So just because something worked well for Jensen, doesn't mean it will for Keaton. Our lessons as parents continue everyday!
